The "Third Tuesday" gatherings are organised independently of ILAS but are attended overwhelmingly by ILAS members who are particularly interested in homebuilding new aircraft or restoring old aircraft.  For this reason, ILAS lists and promotes the events to its members.

The events are run as an 'open house'  on the third Tuesday of each month.  They are very informal and, where there is a formal programme, it tends to focus on some aspect of  building/restoring/maintaining an aircraft rather than flying.
